Simple viewing platform to see the GSL. Be sure to visit the Visitors Center. Very knowledgeable and entertaining discussions to be had.
If you live here, you should definitely visit at least once. If you're from out of town, it's not a necessity, but still a nice Great Salt Lake experience. Don't be afraid to swim there if the weather and bugs allow!
Best kept secret this side of the Mississippi! Mysteries of the sea. Impeccable healing qualities far surpasses any Spa or Epsom bath you'll ever hear about anywhere. You may not be able to buy happiness, but you can always buy a sailboat and sail to a dock somewhere that you can walk your happy feet closer to utter happiness. Like salt of the earth, The Great Salt Lake it's so buoyant you could almost walk on water.
Not much to see here. Not really worth seeing if you're visiting SLC. There is a TON of beautiful orb weaver spiders in the marina rocks. They are harmless, but huge and terrifying!
This place was beautiful and the landscape was amazing... but the smell... Oh my god! It was really bad! We couldn't stand it more than a few minutes before we had to leave. There were also MILLIONS of sand fleas like I've never seen before! :O
